"Housing and Municipal Budgets" Forum Draws Over 100 Print E-mail

On March 10th, over 100 people gathered at the Lyceum in Hartford to attend "Housing and Municipal Budgets: The Vital Connections," the third forum in the 2009 Lyceum Forum Series.  This forum focused on debunking myths and reaffirming the importance of affordable housing to the health of towns in Connecticut.  The morning forum offered two panels, the first examining the state's changing demographics and the impact these changes will have on municipal budgets.  The second panel focused on work that towns are doing to plan for and address the diverse housing needs of their towns.
