Advocates Show Overwhelming Support at 2008 Lobby Day |

Thank you to the over 300 supportive housing tenants, individuals who are homeless, advocates, and service providers who participated in Supportive Housing Lobby Day at the Capitol on March 4, 2008. Through your presence at the Capitol, our legislators saw that their constituents support 650 additional units of supportive housing this session and that supportive housing works! The event began with a standing-room only program in the Old Judiciary Room. John Rowland of the Corporation for Supportive Housing, Diane Randall of the Partnership for Strong Communities and Patti White of Immaculate Conception Housing and Shelter spoke to the group and explained the need for the 650 units and how important their voices are in promoting supportive housing...
