Many Learn to "Visualize Density" in Hartford and Fairfield Print E-mail

Julie Campoli, the landscape architect and co-author of the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy’s “Visualizing Density,” wowed more than 140 planners, architects, developers, community development officials, first selectmen and other land-use players at two workshops on 3/11/08 and 3/12/08  at the Lyceum in Hartford and at Fairfield University, respectively. Campoli’s message, delivered through a series of slides showing various densities from different perspectives: that the actual density – the number of units per acre – is much less important than the design, location and context of the development.  Click here to read more on the HOMEConnecticut website.
